CLRN has published a new interface for our free web information link reviews. While we had previously categorized these 6,000 sites by keyword and standard strands, specific standards were not identified. That has changed.
Completely rewriting our database and front end, our customers may now initially browse by subject or type (primary, secondary, free tool, etc). Drilling down, you may narrow your search by grade level, content strand, and specific standards. Mathematics and English-language arts resources are only matched with the Common Core State Standards. All other subjects are aligned with California’s original content standards.
As with our online course reviews, our browse mode includes options for a Graphic View, which includes a brief description, the number standards found in the resource, a small screen shot, and a popularity rating. List View displays more results per page. All resources may be sorted by data posted, popularity, or the number of standards met.
While programming was completed last June, our review teams have actively been working to re-review and align our 6,000 links to the standards. With more than 40% of the work completed, we offer our new and improved site for you.
